A Socialist Alternative is Both Necessary and Possible!

” A socialist alternative is necessary and possible “, was said at the Stockholm Conference, called by six Iranian communist parties and organisations. The Conference was held on 22 September in Stockholm.

Yadi Shishvani from Communist Fadaian Unity Organisation, Salah Mazuji from the Communist Party of Iran, Siavosh Daneshvar from Worker Communist Party (Hekmatist), Hessan Hesam from the “Rahe Kargar” (Workers’ Way) Organisation, Azam Nouri from Fadian Organisation (Minority) and Saeed Sohrabi from “Haste Aghaliyat” (Minority Cell) all spoke at the conference. Participants were given sufficient time to express their opinions. Organisers of the conference issued two statements titled “A socialist alternative is necessary and possible” and “A message to the Iranian working class” which were read. About 230 activists attended the conference and more than 20,000 viewed it live through media.
