Call for participation in the demonstration organized by French syndicates to support the labor movement in Iran!

At the same time as the annual meeting of the International Labor Organization (ILO) in Geneva, the five French Syndicates (CGT), (CFDT), (FSU), (UNSA) and Solidaries have organized a demonstration in support of the workers’ movement in Iran.This will take place on May 29 at 12 o’clock at the “Palais des Nations” in the city of Geneva.

The foreign committee of the organization Fadaian (aghaliat) supports  this protest aimed at establishing international workers ‘solidarity, supporting workers’ struggles in Iran, and public relations work on an international level against the backdrop of increased exploitation and brutal repression of workers by capitalist rule and the clerical government in Iran.

We call on all activists of our organization and all the revolutionary forces to take part in this demonstration. Our main demands in this protest are: “the immediate and unconditional release of the worker activist and the workers right to their own state-independent organizations”.

Although we support the workers’ daily struggles for their rights, we also believe that the ultimate solution to the current economic, social and political conflicts without the overthrow of the Islamic regime and the establishment of a council government in Iran is not possible.
